ResolveX Data Quality Management¶
Is this data fit to load? Answered before the load, against a standard somebody approved, and in a way you can defend six weeks later.
Data Quality Management derives data-quality rules from what profiling measured, puts them in front of a person to approve, and then judges data against that approved standard. Every verdict names the revision of the standard that produced it.
What it is not¶
It does not decide what your data should look like. A person does, by approving or editing the rules. It does not change your data: planning a fix and running one are different acts, and running one belongs to Data Integration Management, which is deployed with the write credential Data Quality Management deliberately does not hold.
Where to start¶
- What Data Quality Management is: the shape of a run, in one page.
- Your first run: profile a source, approve the rules, read the verdict.
- Without a profiler: a curated standard for a known domain, for a deployment that has no profiling report to derive one from.
